Koothurar Nasi Briyani

Otherwise known as the famous Beach Road briyani, Koothurar Nasi Briyani is an unassuming eatery and it doesn’t even have a signboard. However, their nasi briyani attracts long queues, and they sell out within hours of opening. The bestseller is the Mutton Nasi Briyani, which includes of tender mutton with curry sitting atop fragrant long-grain basmati rice. You can also have your briyani with chicken or fish, and they all come with a serving of pickled vegetables on the side.
