Cafe Mariam

This humble, hole-in-the-wall joint is also owned by Chef Hassan Abdul Majeed, whose grandfather founded the Islamic Restaurant. Nearly everything is made from scratch here, and although the labour-intensive process limits the menu to only five items, it also means that everything is top-notch here, from the Chicken Briyani to Lamb Mandi. The stall is only opens for four hours for lunch each day, and often sells out before closing. This, along with the limited seating means advanced planning is needed!
