Old Bugis Kway Chap
Old Bugis Kway Chap has been around since 1973, and garners long queues during peak hours. They also open till 1 am, which is great for supper! The kway chap was drizzled with very dark and thick sauce that is flavourful yet not overly salty, while the meat and intestines were braised thoroughly. The kway comes in a lightly spiced herbal soup that’s topped with fried onions for extra aroma and texture. While there seems to be a perpetual queue, thankfully the line moves pretty quickly.
