Keng Heng (Whampoa) Teochew Lor Mee

For a traditional bowl of lor mee, you won’t go wrong with Keng Heng’s which comes with a serving of ingredients such as fried wantons, fish, fishcake, pork belly and crispy fish skin. The gravy is thick, gooey, flavourful and dark, and it can be quite heavy on its own though the raw garlic, vinegar and chilli sauce help to cut through it. The stall is incredibly popular and sells out by mid-afternoon every day, so make sure not to arrive late if you want a taste!
