Braise

One of the newer stalls in Golden Mile Food Centre, Braise serves up tasty bowls lu rou fan. They are the only items you’ll find on the menu, but there’s a variety of cuts to choose from such as Braised Pork Rib Set, Braised Pork Cheek Set, Braised Pork Shank Set and Braised Pork Belly Set. Your choice of meat comes laden with fluffy white rice and topped with black fungus, shiitake mushrooms, tofu, tau pok, leafy greens and an onsen egg. The meat is braised for long hours with a medley of herbs, spices and wines, and the sauce is rich and savoury. The accompanying chilli sauce with a sweet and sour tang elevates the meal perfectly!
