Song Kee Kway Teow Noodle Soup

You’ve probably heard of the famous Song Kee brand in Singapore, and one of its outlets, Song Kee Kway Teow Noodle Soup has been at Blk 75 Lorong 5 Toa Payoh Food Centre for almost two decades. The menu is straightforward with just fishball noodles in dry or soup. Each bowl of noodles includes a generous amount of ingredients, from their signature fish dumplings, fishballs, meatballs and fish cakes. While their fishballs are just average compared to the other Song Kee outlets, their fish dumpling is stellar with a well marinated filling. The broth is light and flavourful with a touch of shallot oil, and for the dry version al dente noodles are also tossed in fragrant pork lard, chilli and vinegar.
