Rayyan’s Waroeng Upnormal

Located at the second level of Amoy Street Food Centre, Rayyan’s Waroeng Upnormal is a popular spot for Indonesian fare and you’ll notice most people ordering their Ayam Penyet with Rice, as well as their Bami Noodle with Jumbo Penyet. While Ayam Penyet usually consist of a golden fried chicken accompanied by white rice and crimson sambal, the one by Rayyan’s Waroeng Upnormal is a vibrant take with orange serunding bits, drizzles of kecap manis, and a garden salad that adds a bright pop of colour. Taste-wise, it is just as vibrant, and the meat is tender and pulls apart easily.
