Lian Kee

One of the popular names that constantly appear on the lists of the best bak chor mee in Singapore, Lian Kee serves both the dish in soup or dry, however most people tend to go for the dry version. The not-so-secret recipe for their addicting bak chor mee lies in the sauce, which is braised with minced pork broth and mushroom sauce in a claypot over charcoal. The mee pok is firm and springy, and soaks up the sauce easily. The bowl of noodles also comes with braised mushrooms, pork slices, meatballs, fishballs, minced pork, and lettuce. No liver here!
